For in-person sessions, payment is due at the time services are provided. For Zoom sessions, you can be billed weekly upon request. I accept CASH, Cash App and VENMO. I will bill in hourly increments for in-person sessions and 15-minute increments for Zoom or other online

sessions. I also bill for phone, email, or text interactions beyond those related to scheduling.

Please be on time for your scheduled sessions, whether online or in person. If you do not show up or call

within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, I reserve the right to cancel your session and charge you for

my lost time. If you have an outstanding balance for a no show, you will need to clear that balance before

we can reschedule.

If you cannot attend a scheduled session, please do your best to contact me at least 24 hours before we

are planning to meet. This enables me to offer your time slot to another student. Cancellations with less

than 24 hours’ notice can, at my discretion, be charged the full hourly rate. If I can slot another student

into your space, I will not charge you for the cancelled session.

Repeated NO SHOWS can result in my refusal to continue working with you.

Please come prepared to work. Remember to bring your notes, textbooks, computer/phone and

planner/calendar so that we will have what we need to make the most of our session.

I will not complete assignments or take exams for you. I will help you study, provide feedback and

editorial suggestions for assignments, and help you review and understand course content. I cannot do

your research for you, but I will help you identify good sources and show you how to use your research

results to improve your work.

Unless you are taking courses through Smeal, I probably haven’t read your textbooks or attended your

classes before. It is up to you to provide background information on any assignments you want to cover during our sessions. In general, this just means you will have to email to me your class notes, online reserve readings, or assignment descriptions ahead of time. You can send assignments, syllabi, drafts or any other content related to our tutoring/coaching sessions to me at Kristimyers72@gmail.com. Please do your best to send these to me 24 hours before we meet so I can take the time to review them. If you need help in a subject with which I am unfamiliar, I will refer you to another tutor. I know my limits. Please expect a 24-hour wait for replies to your emails, texts and voicemails. If you contact me late at night or on the weekend, I might not be available to respond right away. If you anticipate needing to reach me during my downtime, please let me know so we can make a plan to stay in touch. I will always do my best to accommodate your schedule and be flexible with our meeting times. That being said, I generally schedule students on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is a good idea to plan ahead and allow as much time as possible before important exams or assignment deadlines so we have a chance to meet. Generally, when we finish one session, I will prompt you to schedule our next session.

I will not report your progress, grades or other information from our sessions to your parents without

your permission. If you partied too hard last night, I am not going to tell on you. You are an adult and I

respect that. If you ask me to talk to your parents about a specific situation, I am happy to do that for you.

This list is not all-inclusive. If issues arise, we can work through them together. I am excited to work with

you this semester. Your success is important to me!

If a student does not show up or call within 15 minutes of your scheduled time, I reserve the right to cancel your session and charge for my lost time. If a student has an outstanding balance for a no show, they will need to clear that balance before we can reschedule. If a student cannot attend a scheduled session, I ask that they try to contact me at least 24 hours before our scheduled session. This enables me to offer that time slot to another student. This is particularly important during busy times like midterms and the weeks before finals. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice can, at my discretion, be charged the full hourly rate. If I can slot another student into a space, I will not charge for the cancelled session.

I will request payment at the conclusion of each session. If you would like to make specific arrangements for billing and payment (i.e. paying weekly versus per session), please feel free to email me at kristimyers72@gmail.com.

I accept payment via Venmo, Cash App and Cash. I ask that you do not use business (Venmo) or Goods

and Services designations for your payments, as these result in additional fees for me. I believe that buyer

protection like Goods and Services are very important to ensure that purchased products are delivered. In

this case, however, I render services before payment and will not ask you to pay in advance for tutoring or

coaching sessions. If you have any concerns about billing or payments, please do not hesitate to contact

me.

o

I am sorry that I cannot accept payments via Zelle at this time; my bank does not yet participate

with them.
